Coach A started his career as the men’s varsity soccer assistant at Pflugerville High School in 2005. After four years, he accepted the head men’s job at Vandegrift High School when they first opened in 2009 with freshmen and sophomores. The program built was heavily focused on character building, technical skill, and family oriented atmosphere which has led to much of the success surrounding Vandegrift men’s soccer program from 2009 to 2016.
The first senior class (class '12) team finished as 5-Time Champions including District Champions and Regional Quarter-Final Champions while finishing inside the top 16 in Texas soccer. Since then, every senior class under his coaching career has been either ranked or finished in the Top 16 in Texas. With 5 senior classes, his teams were District Champions twice and runner-up the other three times. Other stats that were accumulated in his career has been three times Coach of the Year honors, three times Regional Quarterfinal Champions, overall men's varsity career record of 96-48-14 and a men's senior class record of 82-30-10.
Since taking over the Lady Rock Dragons, the girls first year finished 19-3-3 in a remarkable season. Accumlated awards includes district champions, getting to the 6A-Regional Tournament for the first time in the school's history, finishing in the top 8 in state, and receiving the Cen-Tex Coach of the Year honors.
Combined men's and female's record: 115-51-17 (senior record 101-33-13)
Chad is married to Rhina Aldrich and they have an 8 year old son named Chase and a 2 year old daughter named Mia.

Chris Sato is a University of Texas graduate and has taught and coached for 29 years. He is in his 8th year at RRHS and 5th as assistant girls soccer coach.
Coach Sato has won the district title 3 of the 4 years with 1 runner up finish and an overall record is 64-2-10.
He is married and has 3 daughters, 1 son in law, 2 grandsons, and a granddaughter.
